Travel Health

Our practice nurse team are happy to provide a wide range of advice on travel safety as well as vaccinations that might be required.

Patients who are registered for NHS healthcare with the practice are usually entitled to free vaccinations to protect against polio, tetanus, diptheria, hepatitis A and typhoid.  A fee is payable for most other vaccinations and malaria tablets.

Not all vaccinations can be administered at the practice.  If we are unable to provide you wish a vaccination that is considered important for your travel we will give you information about other ways that you can arrange this.

Please download, print, complete and return our travel questionnaire, to the practice.  One of our practice nurses will review the information and contact you by telephone with further information.  You might be asked to attend an appointment.

It is better to give us the detail of your travel plans sooner rather than later.  Some vaccinations require multiple doses to be given to ensure adequate cover.
