Blood Clinic
Our phlebotomists hold blood taking clinics from 8.20 am to 11.00 am on most mornings.
Antenatal and Postnatal care is provided by all the doctors in cooperation with the midwife.
Child Health Surveillance is undertaken by Dr Ireland, dr Wells and our health visitor. This service assesses the development and wellbeing of children less than five years of age.
Immunisations in children
These are carried out by the Health Visitor in clinics held on Monday afternoons. Appointments are arranged by Child Health Services. If you need to cancel a child’s immunisation appointment please call 01640 670427, leaving a message if necessary.
Baby Clinics
Clinics are held at The Village Hall, Pound Lane, Moulton from 2 pm to 3.30 pm The dates for 2012 are below:
- February 7th and 21st
- March 6th and 20th
- April 3rd and 17th
- May 1st and 15th
- June 19th
- July 3rd and 17th
- August 7th and 21st
- September 4th and 18th
- Ocotber 2nd and 16th
- November 6th and 20th
- December 4th and 18th
Diabetes clinics are held in the surgery on a monthly basis and patients with diabetes are sent appointments for these clinics.
Asthma clinics, run by a Doctor and nurse are held in the surgery. Contact reception for an appointment.
Smoking cessation
If you would like help to give up smoking, please ask at reception for an appointment with a practice nurse. You will be offered regular support and if appropriate, smoking cessation aids.
Support for carers
If you are the carer for someone, please advise reception so that we can note this on your records and offer support where appropriate.
Emergency Contraception
We are able to offer confidential advice and treatment for emergency contraception. If you think you require emergency contraception you need to seek advice as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours after unprotected intercourse. This will usually mean that you can discuss this during normal surgery hours.
Minor Surgery some minor operations are performed at the surgery.
